第26回「JASHの日」ご案内
JASHは、1986年にアジアで初めて開催されたAMASC東京大会を記念して、1987年以来、毎年3月に「JASHの日」を開催しております。昨年は25回目となるはずでしたが、直前の東日本大震災発生のためやむをえず中止といたしました。本年は2年ぶりの開催となります。JASHの2011年度を締めくくるイベントであると同時に、聖心ファミリーが集う機会です。

JASHボランティア登録お願い
JASHの仕事は会員数の増加に伴い、年々大変になっています。そこで、機会に応じてお手伝いをお願いできる方のリストを作り、いわゆる登録ボランティア制を始めることにいたしました。たとえば、日常の事務、パソコン入力、古切手の整理、翻訳、行事の準備など。今はインターネットが発達しているので、遠方にお住まいの方でも、在宅をご希望の方でも、できることがたくさんあります。どうぞご協力をお願いいたします。ご協力いただける方はボランティア登録お申し込みフォームよりお願いいたします。仕事の種類などに、ご希望があれば、お書き下さい。

JASHスタディグループ（2011～2014）第１回ミーティング報告
2011年10月25日
AMASCモントリオール大会に向けてのJASHスタディグループ第1回ミーティングは2011年10月25日に開かれ、JASH加盟全同窓会より26名の参加者がありました。
堀田公子会長からJASH-AMASCの関係について、またAMASC新会長パメラ・スナイダー（USA）の呼びかけに応えJASHがスタディグループを立ち上げるに至った説明がありました。委員長に現JASH副会長山岡靖子を選出後、「心を一つにして耳を傾けよう」というテーマのもとに提案されたサブテーマに従い下記の3グループ（*）に分かれました。テーマのとらえ方に戸惑いながらも、初めて顔を合わせる方々ともすぐに打ち解けて、熱の入った話し合いが行われました。

JASHのスタディグループは肩の凝らない気楽な勉強会です。とは言え、これまでのスタディグループは、JASHに対して数々の新しいアイディアを提供し、活動の活性化に貢献してきました。実はいまご覧のこのウェブサイトも、マルタ大会に向けてのスタディグループの、コミュニケーションの多様化を唱えた声に応えて開設されました。
現在スタディグループには40名の同窓生が登録されています。興味がある方は、モントリオール大会参加の如何にかかわらず、是非ご連絡下さい。
2014年9月まで、心を一つにして共に考えましょう。次回ミーティングは、2012年2月28日（火曜日）10：30～12：00を予定しております。

東日本大震災オール聖心義援金援助先
2011年3月11日に発生した東日本大震災援助のため、いち早く義援金口座を発表された宮代会の全面的な協力を得て、海外をふくめ多くの聖心関係者が心を一つにして募金活動を行うことができましたことを、JASH役員一同深く感謝しております。8月31日をもって募金受付を終了し、3000万円を超えるご協力を得ました。援助先を決定するに当たっては、当初から趣旨として掲げたカトリック教会関係、教育関係への援助であることを前提に、数ある可能性の中から、特にこのオール聖心義援金を選んでご寄付下さった皆様のご意思を最大限生かすため、聖心ならではの援助先を選ぶことを目標にいたしました。宮代会東北支部役員のご協力のもと、選択、調査、検討をした結果、最終的に下記の援助先を決定いたしました。
なお公開されたウェブの性質上、ここには詳細な数字は、記載いたしませんが、ご希望の方には、このお問い合わせフォームよりご請求いただければ、お送りいたします。
・2011年9月20日(火)、2011年度第3回JASH理事会における審議、決議の結果、東日本大震災オール聖心義援金について、援助先と分配金額が決定された。
・本決定は、2011年10月4日に開催された宮代会理事会の承認をもって確定した。
・この決定に従い、義援金は、「東日本大震災オール聖心義援金」の名義で各援助先へ送付される。

3月11日（金）東日本大震災が起こりました。その直後より、Pamela Snyder AMASC会長、Hermine van Asten－Wennekers 前会長ほか、AMASC関係者よりお見舞いのメールをいただいております。それらのメールを原文のまま掲載することにより、その方々の温かいお気持ちを皆様にお伝えいたします。

I realize that you are without electricity in Tokyo, so it may be days

Dear Reiko and Kimiko,
Thank you so much for sending us news. When I returend yesterday morning
from my early morning swim I happened to turn on the tv, - which I normally
never do in the morning -, wanting to learn about a certain some Dutch
newsitem but then I learned of the terrible disaster that had struck your
country only an hour ago. My first thoughts were of you two. And prayers
automatically came to me. I am so relieved to know that you are safe. And
also that the Sisters and students in Tokyo are also well.
Be assured that my prayers will remain with you and your stricken fellow
country men. So much mourning, sorrow and personal loss, apart from all
the other problems. You must be worried, but knowing you, also courageous.
While I am writing this I got a Skype telephone call from Sister Jeanine
Zech of Brussels and after I had told her that we received good news from
you she told me that the Provincial House of the Sisters in Japan had suffered
damage but that the Sisters are well. Thought you might want to know this.
If there is anything I could do for you from here do not hesitate to ask
me, my dear friends.

We are very sorry for the catastrophe Japan has suffered last Friday. We
were shocked with the news on television about the terrible earthquake

Please forgive me for not having written before this. I was away and did
not have access to my AMASC address book.
I am so saddened by the disaster that has befallen so many communities
in Japan. All Canadians really are very concerned but the Sacred Heart
family want you to know that we are praying for the people of your country.
With the new technologies, I must confess that it was very difficult to
watch the news and observe so many people being swept to their death.
Many Canadians of Japanese origin have been making themselves available
to media to provide insight on this disastrous human tragedy. Many have
lost loved ones and many have not been able to reach their loved ones.
I hope that both of you and your immediate families and friends are safe.
You must be terribly shaken though by all of this. Hopefully you are drawing
some comfort in that your country has many friends in the world who are
offering help. One thing that is being highlighted in our news is the level
of preparedness for this disaster and that no other country could have
compared.
We are being advised in Canada to help through donations to the Red Cross
(if you have other suggestions please advise us) and I know that teams
of Canadian rescue workers with specific expertise are already on the ground
in Japan.
Finally, please know that you are in my prayers. This will be a long recovery
process.

Dear Kimiko,
I hope you are all fine. I always follow your news on our website and with
my prayer. Every time I go to visit the Chapel of Mater Admirabilis in
Trinità dei Monti, you, JASH, your Sacred Hearts and your Country
are with me... Last week we had the Retreat of our Roman Association in
Villa Lante, and we prayed a lot for all of you.
If you think that there is some material about the earthquake, Tsunami
etc. that would be important for our Archives: please let me know. It is
necessary that this kind of events and the participation and reactions
of JASH will remain in the history of AMASC. Of course: take your time.

「第2回JASH-AMASCを考える会」報告
「第2回JASH-AMASCを考える会」は、12月14日(火)、25名もの出席者を得て開催されました。当日急きょ席を増やすという予想以上の盛会となりました。JASH(日本聖心同窓会)及びAMASC(世界聖心同窓会)の活動に大きな関心を寄せ、ご多忙の中ご出席くださったJASH会員の皆さまに、心より御礼申し上げます。
「12月1、2日にフランス、ジュワニーで開催されるやり直しの臨時各国会長会議に、どのような姿勢で臨むか」－この問題は、4月のマルタ大会以降、2010年度のJASHの一大懸案事項となり、JASHは堀田会長の指揮の下、一丸となってこれに取り組んで参りました。8月、JASHはAMASCに対し、AMASC
Joigny臨時各国会長会議で審議すべき4つの議題を提案。これに対する各国の意見をメールで募り、当会議直前まで、その意見のとりまとめに奮闘致しました。そして、その結果とJASHの意見を携えて、堀田会長と小堀AMASC名誉会員がジュワニー会議に臨みました。
今回の「JASH-AMASCを考える会」では、堀田会長によるジュワニー会議の詳細な報告を中心に、小堀AMASC名誉会員の書簡による報告も行われました。出席者の皆さまからは、長年AMASCに携わり、問題の提起と意見の表明をし続けてきた堀田会長の忍耐強い努力への称賛と、今回の会議で、ようやくJASHの意見が多くの国の賛同を得て一定の成果を上げることができたことへの労いの声を頂きました。更に、今後のAMASCへの対応についてや、若い世代のJASH会員へどのように日本及び世界の同窓会活動を継承していくか、など将来を見据えての率直な意見が上がりました。このようにJASHの今後の大きな課題が浮き彫りにされたことは大変意義深く、同時に、JASH会員皆さまのJASHやAMASCへの思いが強く感じられたことで、JASHの存在意義を確認するよい機会となりました。
